By using the framewrk.co.nz website or purchasing a Template, you agree to these Terms of Use. These Terms of Use constitute a binding agreement between you and framewrk, governed by New Zealand law.
framewrk sells standard-form legal document templates intended for use by New Zealand businesses (“the Templates”) within New Zealand. The Templates are general purpose documents, prepared in advance for common situations, and are not drafted or adapted for your specific circumstances at the time of purchase. The Templates are not a substitute for individual legal advice and should not be relied upon without receiving appropriate legal review by your own lawyers.
Purchasing or using a Template does not create a lawyer-client relationship between you and framewrk, or any other person involved in providing the Templates. No information you provide when purchasing a Template is protected by legal professional privilege. If you require advice that takes into account your specific circumstances, you should engage a lawyer directly.
We strongly recommend that you have a lawyer review any Template before you sign, rely on, or send it to another party, particularly where your situation differs from a straightforward, typical case, or where significant value or risk is involved.
On purchase, you receive a personal, non-exclusive licence to use the Template for your own business’s purposes. You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or share the Template with any other business or individual outside your own organisation, or use it to create a competing template product, without our prior written consent.
While reasonable care has been taken in preparing the Templates, New Zealand law changes from time to time and framewrk does not warrant that any Template is accurate, complete, up to date, or suitable for your specific circumstances at the time you use it. To the maximum extent permitted by law, framewrk excludes all liability for any loss arising from your use of a Template without having it reviewed in light of your own circumstances. Nothing in these Terms of Use limits or excludes any rights you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986 that cannot be excluded by agreement.
The Templates available through framewrk are prepared by a lawyer holding a current New Zealand practising certificate, with some assistance from AI generative tools. This does not mean that purchasing a Template is the same as engaging that lawyer, or any other lawyer, to act for you. framewrk is not an incorporated law firm.
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any dispute arising from your use of this website or the purchase of a Template will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts. If you have a concern about a purchase, please contact us at info@framewrk.co.nz in the first instance so we have an opportunity to resolve it.
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Your continued use of the website or purchase of Templates after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
