Product description

A workplace bullying and harassment policy addressing employer obligations under three pieces of legislation:

  • the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, which requires all persons conducting a business or undertaking to eliminate or minimise risks to the psychological health of workers;
  • the Employment Relations Act 2000, which gives employees the right to raise a personal grievance for sexual or racial harassment; and
  • the Human Rights Act 1993, which prohibits harassment on all protected grounds including sex, race, disability, age, sexual orientation, and religious belief.

The policy includes definitions of bullying, sexual harassment, racial harassment, and other protected-ground harassment, employer and manager responsibilities, a full complaints procedure covering informal resolution, formal investigation, investigation timeframes, possible outcomes, and anti-retaliation provisions, and external complaint rights.
